Panda sells only perfect track sets. Unfortunately, as a part of the molding process, molding machines go out of adjustment periodically during a production run and produce parts that do not meet our quality standards. In such cases, we package these parts as “Almost Perfect” and offer them to modelers at a significantly reduced price. The faces of the tracks and the track connectors are ALWAYS PERFECT but the back of the track shoes will have sink marks, slight depressions in the plastic. Many modelers use these tracks to replicate the practice of tankers of hanging spare track on the fronts and sides of the Sherman for extra armor protection. Others fill the sink marks with suitable filler and use them as a normal track.
